Op. Dr. Yeksin Helvacioglu Karatas
Gynecology and Obstetrics
After Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in English, Dr Yeksin completed her training at Ankara Zekai Tahir Burak Women’s Health Training and Research Hospital as a Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist.
In 2004, she worked with Prof Dr Kypros Nicolaides on high-risk pregnancies at the London King’s College Hospital, Women’s Services, Harris Birthright Research Center for Foetal Medicine Hospital in England.
She completed her state service at Konya Ilgın State Hospital.
In 2008, at Laparoscopy Hospital in New Delhi, India, she completed her fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery on Advanced Laparoscopy alongside Prof. Dr. R.K Mishra.
In 2011, she worked with Dr Farr Nezhat at New York St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals, academic affiliates of Columbia University, in the Minimally Invasive Gynecologic and Robotic Surgery department on laparoscopy and robotic surgery.
In 2016, she received her Assisted Reproductive Therapy (ART) (In Vitro Fertilization) certificate from Private Ankara IVF Center.
She lives in Ankara with her husband, son and daughter. She is fluent in English.
